MPL Signs Agreement to Develop Yacht Marina in HA. Uligan
Project to introduce dedicated facilities for visiting yachts in the northern Maldives.
Malé, 15 March 2026 – Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has signed an agreement with SAS-E Construction Private Limited to develop a modern yacht marina in HA. Uligan.
The agreement marks the beginning of the project’s first phase, which will include the development of a marina capable of accommodating up to 18 yachts at the same time.
In addition to essential services required for yacht operations, the facility will also provide Immigration and Customs services, enhancing convenience for visiting vessels.
MPL also noted that the company is currently seeking a suitable partner to operate and further develop the yacht marina as part of the project’s future phases.
